With its openness, modularity and scalability, PC-based control technology can be used for a wide range of control applications in vessels such as yachts, cargo ships and cruise liners: Apart from lighting control, HVAC, and individual room control – for example in passenger ships – PC-based control also enables the flexible and cost-efficient implementation of measurement technology, engine monitoring and Condition Monitoring.

One of the highlights at our trade show booth will be recently introduced software modules for easy and efficient implementation of innovative big data applications: TwinCAT Analytics enables the seamless acquisition and analysis of process data, and TwinCAT IoT supports standardised protocols for easy and secure cloud communications.

The Bus Terminal system enables the connection of the complete sensor/actuator level. Over 400 different Bus Terminals cover the complete range of digital and analog signal types. Automation and measurement technology as well as compact drive solutions can be realised in a single system.
